How to convert .MOD files for ...

Hi,

My JVC movie camera records as .MOD files. I would like to convert them to a file able to be watched on in Quicktime and syncronised to AppleTV via itunes.

I am having trouble finding out the best way to do this. Assistance would be appreciated.

divx crashing ...

when i am watching a streaming movie with a web based divx player on safari or firefox and i change my energy saver settings , the screen goes black and i need to force quit. i cant even see the force quit window, but i know to just hit enter. It sounds a little petty but it is irritating, if the the display goes to sleep while watching the movie the same thing happens. obviously i should just change the setting before i press play but i usually forget. is this a known bug and can somebody please try to see if it does it on your system to? try a site like divxstage.net, press play on a movie then go into your energy saver settings, adjust the display setting and close the window and see what happens!

if this is an actual bug how would i report it to Apple??

Quicktime crashing windows while ...

Recently, after the new update, windows started crashing anytime I accessed a folder. I can view and access folders for a few seconds before I get a message telling me windows needs to restart. I looked up the event viewer a while back and noticed it was qtcf.dll that was faulting. I tried upgrading to a new version of quicktime only to see that explorer.exe had taken qtcf.dll's place as the fault. I uninstalled quicktime a second time and got no errors, then reinstalled it to find it was in fact quicktime related. help?

PS I have an itouch that matters in some way

Error when trying to save still image ...

I just purchased Quicktime Pro so that I can use it with my new Nano (the one that shoots video). I want to grab a frame from the video and create a still image (in jpeg format). I should be able to do it, but when I try, I get an error 11005 (or something like that). Anyone know any way to fix this? Thanks!

All Quicktime videos are now not ...

Up until yesterday, all of my quicktime files and movies that i could view in itunes, including trailers in the intunes store were working fine. Now for some reason, the audio in any of the above mentioned files works, but the video is now random fuzzy images of what appears to be my start menu on my windows xp operating system. i have reinstalled the most recent version of quicktime, and i have run a virus scan and have turned up nothing. this occurs for any file that requires quicktime. again, the video appears to be fuzzy images of my start menu. the images are almost like looking at a tv thats trying to play an atari that has not had the dust blown out of the game cartridge. i know thats a crazy way to describe it but thats exactly what it looks like. I have a lot of movies on my itunes library, and not one of them works. please help!

I have formatted my PC and then intalled XP and Quicktime 7. Now i want register to Quicktime Pro.
I write:
Name = Name from the apple Store
Firma: Nothing
SNR : My Number from the apple Store (Quicktime 7 Pro Win Access Key)

But nothing happend.

What ist wrong?

QuickTime accidentally deleted...help! ...

Hi this is Julie and I'm an average to good computer user dealing with the techy stuff (so be patient with me whoever is kind enough to reply!). My kid accidentally deleted the Quick Time and this bogus Apple download is not working. BTW, when I tried to access my ITunes, it says to uninstall ITunes first...Yikes...I have over 4,000 tunes! Will uninstalling the ITunes delete all these tunes? If so, is there a way to avoid this? (Maybe that's why the Quicktime from Apple isn't working?) Anyway, some kind soul help a damsel in distress! ;-(
