QT failed to initialize Error#0 Please make sure QT is properly installed on your computer, I press OK and the following message pops up: the plug-in did not initialize properly

I have unistalled then reinstalled QT, towards the end of the download, I get the following message...Windows Installer has stopped working, DEP has closed the program. I downloaded QT directly from Apple. How can I fix this?
