Okay, so I have the latest version of Quicktime, I guess. The one that comes with iTunes. Now, heres the problem....
No matter what I do under "quicktime preferences" it never saves. I make my changes, click apply, close out, and come back in and everything is back on the default settings. In addition, I CANNOT choose the "Audio" tab. As soon as I click it, Quicktime crashes. No, I need to set the player to "Safe Mode (GDI Only)" under the advanced tab, and get at the safe mode settings under Audio, but I can't do either. Can anyone help me with this?
I had no problems doing this with more recent versions of Quicktime. This just started with the last 2 or 3 versions.
